The British Virgin Islands was not left out of the action when the Philadelphia Eagles took home their first Super Bowl title, defeating the New England Patriots in a 41-33 win last night.
Fans of all ages turned out in their numbers at various local hotspots to witness the annual National Football League (NFL) championship final.
The cold night, which had a few scattered showers locally, did nothing to dampen the high-spirited atmosphere as hundreds watched the live game on the big screen with family and friends.
The game was held at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
R&B artiste Justin Timberlake, who is known for hits such as ‘What Goes Around Comes Around’, ‘My love’, and ‘Sexy Back’, provided entertainment during the half-time show in the United States.
