Man robs jerk shop, leaves shoe behind

A man who robbed the operator of a jerk chicken shop in the Greenland area of East End has escaped, but not before losing a shoe while he sprinted away.
Details of the incident are still sketchy.
But BVI News Online has confirmed that, some time this week, the shop operator was at his business-place shortly before 11pm.
The robber, who was wearing a mask, appeared and snatched a pan containing cash.
He then tried to escape, and was chased.
That was when one of the robbers’ shoes fell off his foot. He did not stop to pick it up.
The matter has been reported to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force, which has launched a probe into the incident.
