McMaster, Malone inks deal with Puma
German sportswear giant Puma has signed two British Virgin Islands athletes.
The two athletes are 400-metre hurdles sensation Kyron McMaster, and long-jumper Chantel Malone.
McMaster and Malone are popularly known for making major accomplishments last year.
McMaster was the fastest 400 metre hurdler in the world while Malone made history in 2017 by becoming the first BVI athlete to make it to the finals of a Long Jump event at the IAAF World Championships.
Signing individual Puma deals places McMaster and Malone among the likes of Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt who is the fastest man in the world and who also has a sponsorship deal with the sportswear company.
Details of McMaster and Malone’s deal with Puma are not yet known.
