MoneyGram resumes operations after cyberattack
MoneyGram BVI has resumed operational services following a days-long cyberattack that impacted the company globally.
In a Facebook notice on September 24, the financial franchise reported that their system had suffered a cyberattack, prompting them to take their systems offline and disrupting network connectivity.
While the exact timing of the attack was not disclosed, MoneyGram announced that, while they work to restore full functionality, they have reopened additional services in most locations.
Full impact of the disruption is not yet clear.
