More than 12 illegal immigrants held

Police, with assistance from Customs and Immigration officers, detained a number of illegal migrants at Biras Creek in Virgin Gorda yesterday afternoon.
Among the group, which exceeds a dozen persons, are a number of children.
A search is being conducted for others that may have separated from the group which is comprised mostly of Haitians, said the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force.
Investigations are ongoing.
