New Parole Board appointed for 3 years
A new chairman has been appointed to the territory’s Parole Board.
Government’s Cabinet recently approved the appointment of Ishmael Scatliffe to the post.
Rosemarie Flax and Fiona Forbes also join Scatliffe as new members of the board.
Re-appointed members are Trefor Grant, Kya Huggins, Thomas Alexander and Reverend Paul Ricketts and each member will serve for a period of three years.
The Parole Board makes recommendations for the release of prisoners on licence and related matters.
A media release from government said the board also has the authority to revoke any licence and recall any person released on licence.
