No evidence of foul play in police detective’s death so far

Governor John Rankin has revealed that no foul play has been observed so far in the tragic and sudden death of Detective Sergeant Paul France of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF).

Rankin said a pathologist will arrive in the territory on Sunday and a postmortem for France will be carried out on Monday morning. He said persons are to await the results of that post-mortem since events surrounding the death are not immediately clear.

France’s lifeless body was recovered by first responders and public-spirited residents from an SUV that was found submerged just off the rocky shorefront area adjacent to the parking lot opposite the Dr D Orlando Smith Hospital.

“Precisely what occurred is not yet clear,” Governor Rankin said at a recent security press conference. “I can state that there is so far no evidence that his death was a result of foul play.”

The Governor’s comments were mirrored by Police Commissioner Mark Collins, who explained that an investigation is ongoing into the detective’s death and suggested that it was unlikely that France committed suicide.

“I have nothing at the moment that suggests that any foul play has taken place. We have trolled CCTV. We have eyewitnesses. We have spoken to the people that he was with immediately before,” Collins stated. He added: “I’m not going to go into the investigation because the file will be made available of course to the Coroner’s Court, but to answer your question, I don’t think he’s the type of guy that would have committed suicide.”

Collins also explained that there would be an examination of the vehicle by a vehicle expert who would look at the transmission and other issues in relation to the vehicle in the hope of determining what happened.

“I don’t think we can rule out a medical episode and I don’t think we can rule out a malfunction with the vehicle but let’s just see where we go next week,” Collins said.

Something smells about the death of the UK officer. They should start to look for the scent around some of his fellow mates right up to the head. This is not as simple as they are trying to make it seem.

I think the Governor’s use of the words no foul play is misleading, premature and rather unfortunate.

If it was foul play, can YOU explain how the vehicle got in the water? Did someone drive it in there and swim out, or did someone use a big crane?

I wonder if it is just a coincidence that this happened at the same time Hamas did their evil deed. Let us not forget that Hezbollah are active on this island, washing the illicit funds to support terrorism. Hezbollah and Hamas come from the same table.

    Circumstancial facts indicate foul play.

    What are those facts?

If they are facts, why haven’t they lead to concrete conclusions and lawful actions?

    Waiting for local scapegoat maybe?

Waiting to deny the territory independence maybe?

The points are, when the unpigmented do each other in it is always hidden in compete secrecy and brushed aside with deerred silence and narratives like:

“I don’t think we can rule out a medical episode and I don’t think we can rule out a malfunction with the vehicle but let’s just see where we go next week”

Until the truths come to public, if they ever do, all should refrain from speculations and long with their lives.

For, those who control the narratives will never paint themselves in a negative light in media.

I beg of you, bloggers, please have some sympathy for the loved ones of Detective France who would more than likely be searching for answers in this matter.

I think it is simply premature and careless even for the powers that be to give a report prematurely and not wait until the autopsy and full investigation is completed. Bloggers, please be refrain from blogging callously. Detective France may have been somebody’s brother, uncle, cousin, etc, etc. Put yourself in their shoes and pray for them in this very difficult time. A human being was pulled from the water.

My sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Detective France. May you find peace in what must be an extremely difficult time while you await answers about your loved one.

Tell that to the One who made the Official statement (comment) what kind of response he think would be generated by such. Him be overservant pathologist and medically incline to make such a statement (comment). He is the one not showing humanity or sympathetic towards the Officer’s demised.
