This electricity worker was captured this week restoring a street lamp along the Sir Francis Drake Highway in the Slaney area on the island of Tortola.
Several lamps are now restored along the thoroughfare, providing more visibility for motorists and pedestrians in the area.
This update comes two weeks after a government announcement that the BVI Electricity Corporation has commenced its streetlight restoration campaign.
Streetlight restoration is expected to continue into other areas across the British Virgin Islands.
Roads have not been lit at nights since the September 2017 hurricanes damaged virtually all the streetlights in the territory.

Not amused nor impressed.
Over 5 months and still no electricity.
