More information reaching BVI News Online about the tragic incident on Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands yesterday is that the deceased is an 18 year-old Canadian citizen, Wilson Reading.

He was among a group of five visitors walking to the Bubbly Pool when he tried to take a photo of an area.

The youngster, who arrived in the BVI via a sail boat four days before tragedy struck, reportedly positioned himself on a rock at the edge of a cliff.

While he was taking the photograph, the rock reportedly gave way, and tumbled down the cliff along with Wilson.

The rock, BVI News Online understands, fell on the teenager, killing him.

The body was transported to the island of Tortola.

The matter has been reported to members of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force who already visited the scene of the incident yesterday.
