PHOTOS: Carrot Bay Cultural Fiesta opening
The 2025 Carrot Bay Cultural Fiesta is bringing this year’s Emancipation celebrations to a lively close with a mix of tradition, entertainment, and community spirit.
Festivities began Thursday with its Seafood Cultural Explosion, as well as the village opening ceremony with performances from DJ Fire Blaze, Leon and the Hot Shots, AH Milli Sounds, Razor Blades, Militant and UTB.
The fiesta continues today with cultural games and races before closing tonight with Rhythm and Reggae Night. Here are highlights captured by local photographer, Cleave Farrington.

It was not khool yesterday call a jack ass race in the darkness of night was called and when the people went out the village to see a race they were forced to pay to re enter the village.. NOT GOOD CULTURAL MESSAGE. Money is the ROOT of all evil. That was evil. Shame on the Carrot Bay Committee.

There are those who CLAIM to be followers of Christ and because they know they are considered influencers, instead of taking their platform to genuinely lead others to Christ they STRADDLE THE FENCE…NOT WANTING TO OFFEND, BUT WANTING TO BE ACCEPTED IN THE WORLD BUT YOU CAN’T SERVE GOD WHILE SOOTHING THE OFFENSE OF OTHERS BY SAYING DON’T MIND THOSE CALLING OUT BAD BEHAVIOUR.
THE DEVIL DISGUISES AS GOD TALKING TO YOU SO DO NOT BE FOOLED BY SAYING GOD SHOWED YOU SOMETHING WHEN HE DID NOT ALL TO BE COMFORTABLE IN YOUR SIN!!!
