The festival grounds in Road Town came alive last night, July 30, with the staging of Gospel Fest 2017.
The event pulled a number of persons who were observed worshiping, singing, and dancing to live Gospel hits.
The show involved performances by local acts such as Men of Standard, Craig Shiloh, Joy Praise, and Gabrielle Denae who is a Caribbean Gospel Music Marlin Award winner.
Denae’s moving performance ended the local segment, and paved the way for the tempo of the concert to be upped when Trinidad and Tobago recording artiste Nigel Lewis took to the stage in the regional/international segment.
Lewis’ energetic set left patrons eventually clamouring for more.
Things then slowed again with the closing performance by United States singer Myron Butler.
