Lenell “LJ” Stevens Jr. made local music history over the weekend after capturing first place in both the Groovy and Power categories at the 71st Virgin Islands Emancipation Festival Soca Monarch competition.
Stevens, a familiar name in the BVI music scene, delivered two dynamic performances that earned him top honours in both segments of the contest—an unprecedented feat for the annual event.
