Police confirm at least one death on Tortola
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force has confirmed at least one death that happened on Tortola on the morning of Monday, April 6.
“I can confirm a report of a death in the Fat Hog’s Bay area. More details will be provided as it becomes available,” Police Information Officer Akia Thomas told BVI News.
While no official confirmation has been made regarding the gender of the deceased, our news station understands the person in question is female.
Meanwhile, BVI News also received reports of another death on Tortola that happened on Sunday, April 5.
Our news centre understands the deceased is a prominent elderly male figure who died while at his Cane Garden residence.
