Police name employees accused of stealing from BVI Ports

Road Town Police Station

Police have charged a third ports employee in relation to a reported theft at the BVI Port Authority.

Charged with theft are 36-year-old Fat Hogs Bay resident Donice Samuel, 44-year-old Nicklin Joseph, and Dabriel Merry of East End.

The trio was charged after police executed search warrants and uncovered the missing items at their places of residence.

“Other charges are likely in this matter as investigations continue,” police said in a media release this afternoon

The three, in the meantime, were granted police bail until their scheduled appearance before Magistrate’s Court early next year.
