Police reportedly nab Purcell Estate man with cocaine, marijuana

A 56-year-old man has been taken into custody on cocaine and marijuana charges.
Charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply is Junior Bradford Prince of Purcell Estate.
Police allegedly held Prince with more than 12 grams of cocaine during a stop-and-search operation last week, according to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF).
“A subsequent search warrant carried out on his premises resulted in the seizure of over a kilo-and-a-half of cocaine and a quantity of marijuana,” said the RVIPF’s Information Unit today, June 18.
Investigations are still ongoing in the matter.
In the meantime, Prince is scheduled to appear in the Magistrate’s Court today.
