Potter, in the meantime, has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology Education and a Principal Certificate from the National College of Educational Leadership. As the Assistant Principal he will be responsible for, “creating an environment that encourages quality learning experiences for all students and working along with teachers to ensure highest student performance”, among other things.
Chief Education Officer, Connie George has congratulated the two new school principals on their appointment.
“The ministry’s aim is always to strengthen our leadership and I am also pleased to know that these two persons were part of our programme that trained principals as administrators. So they are going with the necessary skillset and hopefully we will see improvements as they continue to function in these leadership capacities. I send hearty congratulations,” she stated.
