Prince Charles who is the son of Queen Elizabeth II will be visiting the British Virgin Islands.
His Royal Highness will visit the BVI on Saturday, November 18.
The Prince of Wales will only be in the territory for that one day.
“The purpose of his visit is to see the devastation caused by the hurricanes in the territory,” said Communications Officer in the Governor’s Office, Annabelle Miles.
“The Governor, Augustus Jaspert, will be meeting him and accompanying throughout but he won’t be having any kind of sit-down meeting with him,” Miles added.
The Prince will also be touring other Caribbean countries affected by the September hurricanes.
He will stop in Antigua on Friday, before visiting Barbuda and BVI the next day. The Prince will culminate his tour with a visit to Dominica on Sunday.
