Property tax assessment list now available
Government Information Service (press release) – The 2017 Property Tax assessment list is available for review.
Copies of the assessment list are posted at various public buildings and places throughout the BVI for inspection by the public. A review of the list can also be done at the Inland Revenue Departments on Tortola and Virgin Gorda.
Property owners on Tortola, Anegada, and Jost Van Dyke who are not in agreement with the tax assessed on their property may object to the assessment before the Magistrate on Friday, September 1 at 9:00 a.m. at the Magistrate’s Court at John’s Hole.
Property owners on Virgin Gorda may object to their assessments before the Magistrate on Monday, September 4, at 10:00 a.m. at the Magistrate’s Court in the Valley, Virgin Gorda.
Property Taxes for the year 2017 are due and payable on September 1.
