Public invited to ‘land’ meetings
Government Information Service – The Town and Country Planning Department, in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour, is inviting the British Virgin Islands community to a series of Territory-wide “EnVIsion 2040” Smart Land Use Planning meetings, under the iLAND Resilience Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) project.
The National Land Use Maps and Plans will guide land development of the Virgin Islands over the next 20 years to meet agreed community, economic, environmental and cultural goals. Public input will help to establish these broad goals and the nature of the plan to accomplish them.
