Public views body ahead former legislator’s funeral

Several residents visited the House of Assembly building in Road Town today to pay respects to the late legislator, Omar Wallace Hodge ahead of his funeral tomorrow, January 18.

Hodge was a member of the Virgin Islands Party (VIP) and served in local politics for more than three decades.

He passed away on December 20 last year after suffering a stroke a few weeks before.

The funeral service will take place at the New Testament Church of God International Worship Centre in Baugher’s Bay.

Hodge has been described as a true patriot who earned the love and admiration of many during his life.

    So sad. He is such a good man. He help plenty people get exemption. Who been here for a long period of time.

    I’m here 25 year and still fighting for my residency. When I can today th told me in another 2 to 3 years .

      @see through – check the laws, have you applied? Some people don’t want expats to get nothing even though you b en working, living and contributing for years.
