Ravindra Maywahlall appointed country manager of telecoms giant

Ravindra Maywahlall has been appointed as the new Country Manager of Flow, British Virgin Islands (BVI).

A media release from the telecoms provider said Flow’s parent company C&W Communications officially made the appointment recently.

C&W’s Vice President for the Central Caribbean Magnus Ternsjo said he was confident in Maywahlall’s ability to advance Flow in the BVI.

“I am really impressed with Ravi’s performance and leadership skills and pleased that he has been confirmed in the role. I have every confidence that he will do an excellent job in leading the BVI team and delivering an even better experience for our residential and business customers in the Territory,” Ternsjo stated.

Maywahlall has been employed by Flow for the past 15 years and in addition to managing business operations as Acting Country Manager, he has undertaken many other roles. These include Head of Commercial where he directed Flow’s marketing and consumer teams.

He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario and is a registered Chartered Manager with the Chartered Management Institute of the United Kingdom.

Maywahlall said his key to achieving success stems from his belief in working together as a single cohesive unit.

In the central Caribbean, the BVI is one of 10 islands which offer full telecommunications services.
