Scooter rider robs wholesale at mid-day
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) said a masked scooter rider used a gun to rob L&R Wholesale in Baughers Bay, Tortola, about mid-day yesterday, July 25.
“The store clerk reported that a lone gunman approached her while in the establishment and demanded money.”
“She pointed to the day’s earnings, which the assailant took and fled the scene on a scooter,” the RVIPF said. No one was injured.
“The assailant was masked at the time of the incident, but no other description was given,” added the RVIPF.
It said its officers are continuing their investigations.
