Skelton Cline accuses Walwyn of ‘wilful and wicked attack’
Talk show host of the ‘Honestly Speaking’ radio program, Claude Skelton Cline has issued a sharp rebuke to Opposition Leader Myron Walwyn, accusing him of “reckless and wilful and wicked” behaviour after Walwyn referenced his radio program during a recent House of Assembly (HOA) sitting.
During a HOA debate on a no-confidence motion against the government, Walwyn mocked Skelton Cline’s show, dubbing it “Dishonestly Speaking” as he rejected the view that only individuals with deep ancestral roots in the Virgin Islands should hold high office. Walwyn suggested that this position has been strongly advocated by Skelton Cline.
During his August 19 broadcast of the radio show, Skelton responded to Walwyn’s statement.
“I don’t know why you would invoke — disingenuously — my program as a private citizen in the House of Assembly, where you have immunity, and mischaracterise what I do,” Skelton Cline said. “Honestly, that kind of hubris, pomp, and arrogance is always baffling to me.”
He further cautioned that lawmakers should refrain from invoking the names of private citizens or entities in debates unrelated to the issue before the House.
Premier Dr Natalio Wheatley, who appeared as a guest on the program, weighed in cautiously, noting that Walwyn’s actions ran contrary to parliamentary rules.
“Well, actually the Standing Order speaks against it,” Dr Wheatley remarked.
In the meantime, Skelton Cline has vowed to address several of Walwyn’s recent remarks in upcoming broadcasts.

Claude attacks Myron every time he has a show. I see CSC as a dishonest person. So does the whole BVI. His show would be named dishonestly speaking.
Cry me a river! Chupes. Tell us about the neighborhood project and al the contracts you got paid for without doing any work. That to me is dishonest. And you have been speaking a lot so dishonestly speaking is a good name for you.

The moment Claude Skelton Cline stepped into the public square with his ‘Honestly Speaking’ pulpit, he invited scrutiny, not sanctuary. Now that Myron Walwyn has served him a dose of his own medicine, CSC’s sudden appeal to immunity and parliamentary etiquette reads less as principled protest and more as selective fragility. Public commentary is not a one-way mirror. Every pulpit comes with a spotlight. If you preach, expect feedback. If you provoke, expect response. And if you brand yourself a truth-teller, expect the truth to echo back, sometimes louder than you like. To cry foul when the spotlight turns back on you is to betray the very ethos of robust public discourse.
Only he must say what he wants, now he wants to dictate what Myron should say, so Myron bad, this guy is very sicker than all hospital put together!!
CSC is not known for honesty so I don’t understand why he is troubled by how Myron described his show. You only worry about your reputation when it is good. This man reputation been in the gutter from the time he came from Detroit by Kwame Kilpatrick.
