Streaming hiccup mars Miss BVI show
Persons who opted to view the Miss BVI 2023 broadcast through a streaming platform that was provided lost valuable portions of the show when they tuned in to watch two nights ago.
Viewers, who were asked to pay a $35 pay-per-view fee to access the broadcast on the Hopin platform, reported being unable to access the livestream for up to half an hour at the start of the show.
Customers were greeted with a screen that read “Nothing’s happening on the stage. We’ll notify you about a new scheduled segment.“
Several of them complained that they were forced to miss the introduction and other segments for some of the contestants, including the very popular evening wear segment.
Officials at the time chalked issue up to technical difficulties that were encountered and told patrons that a technician was working to troubleshoot the issue. A message was sent to viewers that any inconvenience caused was regretted.
The livestream was disrupted once again during a later segment but this appeared to be a much shorter disruption than the first outage.
Twenty-three-year old Anika Christopher was crowned as the new queen of the event, winning ahead of a stage of four contestants.

This is the perfect example of people trying to put other down all the while exposing their incompetent a**es!
