Taiwan government scholarships now open to Virgin Islanders

The British Virgin Islands Hong Kong Office is pleased to announce that applications for the 2024 Taiwan Government Scholarships are now open to Virgin Islanders/Belongers.

Sponsored by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, these prestigious scholarships offer Virgin Islanders/Belongers the opportunity to pursue full degree programmes (Bachelors, Masters & Doctorates) as well as short Chinese (Mandarin) language courses at renowned Universities in Taiwan.

Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline on Thursday 28th March, 2024. BVI applicants with a United Kingdom or British Overseas Territory Passports (BVI) are eligible to apply.

For degree programmes provides, the award covers tuition fees up to USD$1,275, and a monthly living allowance of USD$478. For the short language courses, complete expenses are covered.
