Teen among three charged with assault in recent RVIPF arrests

A teenager is among three males recently charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, according to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF).

On February 7, police arrested and charged 43-year-old Akiba Forde of Paraquita Bay with the offence. In a separate incident on February 8, 26-year-old Kwayne Francis of Cane Garden was also charged.

A 17-year-old male was later arrested for the same offence on February 15.

The circumstances surrounding their individual charges were not disclosed in the RVIPF’s latest arrest blotter. However, the report confirmed that all three were granted $5,000 bail and are scheduled to appear before the Magistrate’s Court in March.

Meanwhile, 19-year-old Jamul Harrigan of Major Bay is set to appear in court today, Thursday, February 27, after being arrested and charged for a similar offence on January 8.

If convicted in the Magistrate’s Court, assault occasioning actual bodily harm may result in a fine or imprisonment, depending on the severity of the injuries and other mitigating factors.

    the teen charged is following in the foot steps of his older brother. nothing they can do wrong for their close family. so they would continue do wrong until they caught up with the law.and Don’t comment and say I don’t know what am talking about because many know what am saying is correct
