Two charged for infant death

The following is a media release from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF).

Two persons, a male and female, were charged yesterday in connection with the death of nine-month-old Zamir Romney which took place earlier this month.

Monica King, 35, and Juwan Richardson, 25, both of Greenland, received the charge of manslaughter.

The male infant was in the care of two accused on April 7 when the death occurred. Both King and Richardson are to appear in Magistrate’s Court at the next available sitting.
