Two teens arrested after being found with loaded gun
Two 17-year-old males were arrested in Road Town following a late-night police chase that led to the discovery of an illegal firearm and suspected drugs last Friday, July 18.
Highly-place sources told BVI News that officers responded to reports of suspicious individuals and later spotted the suspects hiding under vehicles near Craft Alive in Road Town.
One was found with a loaded Glock 17 pistol while the other reportedly had suspected cannabis. Sources told our news centre that the weapon had at least a dozen rounds of ammunition.
Both teens were arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a firearm. Their identities are not yet known to BVI News but it is understood that one on the teens is from Virgin Gorda.
They are expected to be arraigned before the Magistrate’s Court.

Young fatherless Black males with ties to the CARICOM .

So they don’t have name jack ass
They are still minors and the law prohibits their names from being released.
This the the kind of situation where I wouldn’t mind if they gave out a lil Rodney King treatment when you catch their @$$
The laws in the BVI states that you are a juvenile if you are under the age of 16. That’s why if you have sex with someone under the age of 16 you will be arrested. They are deemed to be adults and they are engaging in serious crimes so print their names and show their pictures.
The nation’s elected people must bring some common sense, thoughtful thinking and actions to their portfolios and services.
Crime for example is rooted in POVERT!!
Erase POVERTY and reap a significant drop in crime and gun play.
The people need good responses to bad problems, not bad ones.
The BVI imports and installs poverty.
Note the zero crime and zero poverty of places..the common thread is the importation of that and those non beggars. Givers as opposed to takers.
Next door there is St Barts as an example and as always there is MONACO.
Crime is rooted in the character..as exemplified by the up de isluncriminals that are characteristically ungratefully riding these VI and neighboring islands with neither a hint of regret embarrassment or shame. Typically spreading their dark character anywhere and elsewhere they land…USA,Canada,Europe. Word is that Africa has uprooted oand deported some from the ancestral Continent after being given free land and other niceties for easy settlement in the motherland.
Their islands without exception flows with Nature’s bounty, unlike these VI dryweather hurricane prone butta people of gratitude, humility and gentility. What lifted these VI is solely the
Character of its people having less and sometimes nothing, unlike their updeislun neighbors but their innate good characterappealed to the Universe and Lord. No one with good intention from elsewhere as they drop anchor invested and built in these VI ever had to be concerned about robbery murder and stuff in between….CHARACTER..the good kind…
RULES..It topples poverty all the time everything and served with sincere gratitude is always a winner.
