Two tourists missing in the BVI

Officials have requested the public’s assistance in locating two missing tourists, Pascal Bosman from the Netherlands and Martire Cabrera from the Dominican Republic.

According to the Department of Immigration, both individuals arrived in the territory aboard the cruise ship Norwegian Sky on Friday, April 19, and have since failed to return to the ship or legally depart the territory.

Bosman and Cabrera are missing under circumstances that have raised concerns among local officials.

The situation is particularly urgent, authorities said, as neither has made any known contact nor shown activity that would indicate their whereabouts. Cabrera, additionally, is noted to be carrying a St Kitts & Nevis passport, adding a different element of urgency to the search.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force and the Department of Immigration are leading the search and have issued contact numbers for the public to report any information that may assist in locating the two men.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Department of Immigration at 468-4705, 468-4717, 468-4754, or the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force hotline at 311.

First I hope these folks are safe

Now, I don’t wish to draw premature conclusions. However, seems like we have heard about missing cruise passengers before several times recently. What may be going on here?

Are these passengers unintentionally or intentionally not continuing on to their cruises? The frequency of these missing cruise passengers has me wondering if something else is going on here.

Yep. Those thoughts ran thru my mind. I don’t know of many people from the Caribbean who want to cruise the Caribbean, familial territory.

I would want to cruise any other place in the world to experience something new.

Those pics looks like mugshots. Quite frankly, if I saw these guys on a cruise, I might just jump overboard. I don’t know, but I’m getting bad vibes.

In passport photos such as the ones taken officially at the post office you are NOT ALLOWED to smile. Every photo looks like a mugshot. They said it is done this way for facial recognition purposes. The amount of ignorant and uneducated comments under this thread is disgusting.

don’t let cruisers off the ship when it’s in the BVI unless accompanied by a security guard on the safari bus tour or the charter boat island tour. No walking off the ship.

I saw those two guys on the ship, and were constantly hanging together, as a former Police Officer I amnkiw putting the evidence together that both has already moved on to smaller island to sort not their shipment. Remember Dominican Republic is a transhipment point to Europe and North America. They are harden drug smugglers and can be dangerous, now this bulletin has be issued the peices of the puzzle come together and my suspicion was correct.
