UK donates generators to BVI

An unspecified amount of generators have been donated to the British Virgin Islands.

Local government received the generators from the United Kingdom.

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Communications and Works, Anthony McMaster said the generators are ‘to enable continuity in the essential elements of government’.

They are also to support the delivery of service to the public, he said.

Government, in a recent media release, did not specify when they received the equipment.
