UPDATE: Man injured in Long Bush shooting dies
The male victim of yesterday’s shooting incident has died, BVI News understands.
He reportedly died while receiving treatment at the Dr D Orlando Smith hospital.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has not yet released his identity.
Law enforcers had said in a brief media statement this morning that the shooting happened incident late last evening, September 3 in the Long Bush area.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still unclear but the police have indicated that investigations are ongoing into this latest firearm incident.
Just over the weekend, police responded to another shooting incident in the West End area, however, no injuries were reported as a result of that shooting.

Worthless? People like you live in Lala Land – thinking somehow doctors and nurses can heal/revive the dead. Somehow you all think you can be sick for months, treating yourself based on a quick Google search and home remedies, and when you are close to being dead then seek medical attention and all will be well.
You all expect Police to solve crimes with no help from the community (eyewitnesses). No CCTV, no local Forensic testing, and limited resources.
