UPDATE: Missing man found unharmed
Jevonte Wattley, the 24-year-old man reported missing yesterday, Thursday January 26, has been located.
The police said in a brief statement today that Wattley was found unharmed.
The police further thanked members of the public for their concerncern and responsiveness.

The public’s assistance is being sought in locating 24-year-old Jevonte ‘JD’ Wattley of Cane Garden Bay who reportedly did not return to his home after work last night, as is customary.
According to a missing person’s bulletin sent by the police today, Wattley was last seen leaving his workplace at the RiteWay Supermarket in Pasea at about 11 am yesterday, January 25.
His family and friends have not seen him since.
“He also did not report to his workplace this morning,” the police reported. “Wattley is described as a dark male, about 5”7 in height and wears glasses. He was last seen dressed in a green T-shirt with blue sleeves, long black jogging pants and black crocs.”
Persons with information on the whereabouts of Wattley are asked to contact the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force through its access number 311 or the Intelligence Unit at 368-9339 or 368-9593.
