And so the senseless shootings have started again. This is so sad. If only the trigger happy men out there would start taking out those who are responsible for the deaths of the innocent individuals who were killed, cause we definitely need some vigilante justice in this place

Condolences to the victims family members and close friend. Tragedy can come upon anyone of us in this world. Without pointing the finger, we must acknowledge justice is for all. And the way to settle problems is not by violence.

There is the rule of law and the court system to aid in this. Of my time in Purcell I can say this individual was a upfront guy, with a level head. I don’t know all about him, but have never seen him in altercation with anyone.

Peaceful and humble at all time, for over many years. Now tragedy has come upon him and great pains for his family. I say BLM because we all we got, small community of people trying to make a better tomorrow for our children. Let’s work out differences positively. No more bloodshed in our islands. No one should be taken this way. The good die young!

Teach Mediation in the schools, rid the country of guns, provide outlets in sports of all kinds. It is a small island. This can be solved. Many of us recall a time when there was no violence in the BVI.

You are so correct. The people have turned into African savages. They have taken a paradise and destroyed it. The “belongers” are smarter than everyone. That’s why a year has passed since Irma and there has been absolutely no rebuild of anything. Trash and rats everywhere. No roads. They hate the white man but want the white man to bail their asses out. Someone show me one country, territory, municipality where the Africans are in charge and there is success. Africa the cradle of civilization and they don’t even have clean water. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

You talk about African savages destroying a paradise. Was it not these same white people who plundered and pillaged the continent? The developed countries covertly install Greedy African leaders they can manipulate. Any African leader who advocates for independence of the continent is eliminated. Kwamw Nkruma, Sankara, Lumumba to mention a few were killed to create access to the huge resources on the continent.
If Europeans had stayed in their part of the world and not dealt in the slave trade, Africans would be satisfied with whatever resources they had. Wherever a black man resides with a white colleague, the white man always feels superior to the black man and will do whatever they can to suppress the development of the black man.
Fortunately, some black men who cannot be corrupted are emerging and the white dominance will eventually end. When the Blackman is finally independent of white rule, tell me who is going to buy whatever the white amn produces. We can trade among ourselves and we will keep our sunny weather.

People are suffering in the BVI at the hands of a black government, correct me if I am wrong. They go as far as discriminating against black people who are FROM A DIFFERENT CARIBBEAN ISLAND. Now if that isn’t ignorance I do not know what is. Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery and stop the racism, stop the discrimination, stop the ignorance, stop the violence. All this means is blacks act as individuals while the whites act collectively. So when the white do it, it’s like normal .. it’s law.. they all support the same genocide in Middle East for example. But blacks do more 1on 1 murders.

At the end of the day, ask the natives of all the colonized countries around the world who was most murderous ???? Historically speaking, it’s the same people running the world today. They have been supreme murderous people.

They have infact made killing for land common and accessible. That’s how they got Canada, USA, EUROPE, Africa and the list goes on.

If blacks were willing to kill like them, we would have a nation today!! I don’t care if you call it war, invasion, colonization or what ever hip political jargon you use.

However, nuances are made within the culture, and yes unfortunately there is something wrong with the BVI culture. Parents not raising their children properly have created an upcoming lazy and greedy generation. Police not even enforcing the basic rules have created a lawless society. Amateur politicians with limited knowledge and expertise have made wrong decisions, leading the country and economy into a downward spiral. I really hope that the people realize soon that chance is required, I also hope that a leader will emerge soon which they can elect and support rebuilding the society and territory.

Because, according to you something is wrong with the BVI culture, there is no contribution from the White Man? Keep in mind that this phenomena in the VI is relatively recent and coincides with the proliferation of expats which includes the W—— T groupies,South Africans,Australians NorthAmericans and other known destroyers and maintainers of the status quo
That is like saying cancer is prevalent but marketing of non foods and its consumption does not contribute nor does germwarfare contribute to the genocide of specific socioeconomic groups as do prisons as an industry, substandard education, housing,so many factors subtle and not so subtle. It is a science practiced by the White segment of the Establishment and aided by others with little or no awareness, self or otherwise.

It is very ironic that every time there is a shooting, the police will show up some time later with a lot of big long guns. Do they really expect the shooters to sit around and wait until they find their guns and cars and come with flashing lights. When was the last time you hear of the police engaging a shooter in the BVI. The way our police force operates these guys know they have a 0.000001 change of encountering any resistance so they don’t event think of the police. Our police force only carries out mopping up operations. The police needs a more proactive approach to crime and violence. Sitting around and waiting for a crime to be committed and then mopping up and hoping to find a clue is not the way to operate in todays BVI. You don’t need to arm every police but you certainly need more than the handful you always see turning up to mop up.
The police certainly also needs to be more visible in town and in these troubled areas that they know quite well. I have not seen an armed police patrolling town since the aftermath of IRMA. enough said.
