UPDATE: Police name woman linked to Daway’s murder

Police have named the woman who was arrested in connection with Trumayne Daway’s murder.
Charged is Maybelline Rodriguez, a native of the Dominican Republic, who resides in Huntums Ghut.
Police have also confirmed reports that a man is also in custody in connection with the murder.
His named has not been released.

Less than a week after the Trumayne Daway’s murder, police has made an arrest in connection with his death.
Law enforcers detained a 21-year-old woman on suspicion of murder.
They have not released her identity or any other information in relation to the bust.
Police found Daway unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a vehicle in Brandywine Bay on Wednesday morning (February 28).
He had gunshot wounds to his body and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Daway is the third person to have been murdered this year.
The other two persons that were killed are Michael Stevens and Clevaughn Sweeney.
The duo was gunned down near Althea Scatliffe Primary in Road Town more than two weeks ago.
There has been a number of other shootings on Tortola and some have resulted in injuries.

Seems British police are involved. British police have a very bad reputation for fitting people up for murders when they are under pressure to solve them. Lets wait to see the evidence before getting excited.
