UPDATE: Seven arrested after drug bust and boat chase

Seven men are now in police custody following joint marine and land-based raids conducted overnight and into the morning of Wednesday , June 18.

According to a statement from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF), the coordinated operation involved officers and assets from the Department of Immigration, His Majesty’s Customs, the RVIPF, and other external law enforcement agencies.

Sources told BVI News that three of the men are locals and four are expatriates. They were reportedly arrested for immigration and drug-related offences after a high-speed chase in which their vessel ran aground off the coast of Virgin Gorda.

Sources also indicated that a significant quantity of drugs was recovered during the operation. However, police have not yet officially confirmed the type or amount of narcotics seized.

The RVIPF said the effort is part of ongoing multi-agency initiatives aimed at tackling cross-border criminal activity and safeguarding the Virgin Islands.

“The investigation remains active, and further information will be provided in due course,” the police statement noted.

Narco isle UK that is where they like to get stupid drunk and do stupid UK drugs to list a few being horse tranquilizer ketamine, trampled on adulterated cocaine, adulterated hash, fake ecstasy, and fake LSD.

The UK wants to paint the BVI is the narco isle to control politics when we as a culture dont engage in nor of that research chemical poopoo or lose our sense to refuse drugs by getting stupid drunk every day. Horse tranquilizer my a… That is what they like! They peer pressure our youth into it when they go to study.

But to some of them BVI is worse and we dont deserve independence because the BVI has too many drugs. yea right get lost

You missed a lot of points in your determination to defend your rights to engage in illegal activities.
It is the VI’s constant support for corruption, drug running, money laundering, dangerous scooter riding, illegal cars, inadequte and criminal leaders that is the reason why VI not ready. It is not that the VI doesn’t deserve it (whatever that is supposed to mean) it is that Independence now would hand the country to corrupt and greedy power hungry new colonialists like we have in the HOA, and that would not be good for the VI.
Think you missed the point and this is not the UK hating on VI because of drugs.
It is because the worst thing for the people of the VI would be Independence.
I think you GET LOST in your own hatred.

Our local people is drunk in the UK and they want us to believe up there is sweet only place worse off is America, another nation built on human trafficking, weapons dealing. Poppy production fell when the taliban beat the USA. Corruption.

Why cant you people stop blaming others and try to correct the problem abd have a clean country

That is why the Premier blames everyone when money are short or cannot be accounted for

These are the resulting authentic statastics of an uncivilized people:

“Israel has destroyed, bombed, or damaged 38 hospitals in Gaza since Oct 7—rendering them completely nonfunctional.

It also wiped out 81 major health centers and 164 other facilities like clinics and labs.

That’s 283 health sites targeted—a systematic dismantling of Gaza’s healthcare system.

This is a poignant example of civil and humane people.

  9. Pushing that coco says:

Good! Round em all up just like the ones in the 1st article. They all want fast money so let them suffer the consequences.

  10. TakeNote says:

The side note add on other “EXTERNAL”law enforcement agencies.
Are we to assume then that this bust was simply another as always USVI initiated bust.
We have refused to monitor and adequately protect our borders sooo,as always, past abd present, the USVI protecting us and the World at large from we,ourselves. We will pay, guaranteed! This game is now,no longer disguised.

  11. wow racist UK blogger buzz off says:

Bz BVI I would tell you to get lost but you are well paid.

It is because the worst thing for the people of the VI would be Independence.

There it is bold face racist donkey doesnt want independence for the sake of it. Now because you are afraid of social decline you simply do not want the BVI people to really be free of your genocide supporting UK.

Now it is genocide but a few months ago when the UK supported Israel they said it was not a genocide.

That was a taboo to say. You are a racist. P

People of this world are tired of you empire of lies that restricts human beings and supports war in depraved fashion backed up by tall tales.

You have nothing to complain about in reality.

    • BuzzBvi says:

You got me. You are right. Only people from UK are racist. Ha ha ha.
I may Buzz to Haiti and see how 220 years of Independence (1804) is going for them and check on their economic, political, and social progress, towards chronic poverty and other serious problems, free from their colonial oppressers.
Despite the words you put in my keyboard what I want for all people in VI is Independence and progress, but not just progress for our corrupt elite and their leaders which is what would happen with Independence now.
Easy to see why (when UK and the VI people want laws to be followed and regulations and good Governance to be in place) you and the rest of the corrupt political power base want Independence .
Easy to see why the VI people do not currently want Independence and none of it needs to be justified by throwing the R word or P letter around.
No complaints here except…. where do I pick up my check?
AND Where do I find the HOA or Premiers statement against the genocide being carried out by Israel.

  12. Those Spanish says:

Those Spanish brothers are from antigua …..Longtime they doing drugs

  13. Merci says:

    Thank You USVI !
We won’t be claiming success if the neighboring USVI didn’t include our shores as the place where it all begins as we do not seek to monitor and or safeguard our shores…and they (USVI) and mainland US suffers as a result of the varying fallouts.

  14. Who are they says:

the comments are about everything else other than who the seven men are. Come on commenters you all slipping, stay on the topic at hand.

  15. @buzzbvi says:

You are hypocritical and divisive. Despite the words you put in my keyboard what I want for all people in VI. I never argued for continuing of illegal activities. In fact I do not support it at all. Go place that on someone else you Racist. When you say we can not manage ourselves that is a lie.

You should never place the BVI in the same category as the UK which has Romanian gangs, Spanish smugglers, Italian mafia and plenty human trafficking. Men up there see a kitchen knife as a weapon. We are saint compared to them. Take a vacation.

All drugs you can name that do not exist in the BVI bet you find in the UK. They get stupid drunk and lose their senses. You well know your people.
