Vanterpool to customers – No price increase at OneMart

Amid reports that several supermarkets have increased prices on goods since the hurricane struck, OneMart Supermarket said it wants customers to know there has been no price hike at the establishment.
“To dispel the rumors that have been circulating about price gouging, the management of One Mart Supermarket, the People’s Store, wants you, our valued customers and others to know, that our everyday low prices remain even after Hurricane Irma,” store owner Mark Vanterpool noted in a post on his Facebook page.
“We have NOT increased our prices at all, and we have no intention of doing so.”
Vanterpool added that he is very grateful for the patronage of customers and that OneMart will remain committed to ensuring that every shopper is able to access the necessary grocery and other items, especially at this time.
