VIDEO: McMaster finishes third at Diamond League meet
Local 400-metre hurdler Kyron McMaster finished third when he competed at the IAAF Diamond League championship in Doha, Qatar on Friday.
McMaster ran a time of 49.46 seconds behind Jackson Bershawn of the United States, who stopped the clock in 49.08 seconds for silver.
Quatar’s Samba Abderrahman put on a superb performance in front of his home crown to finish first with a world-leading time of 47.57 seconds.
The event is McMaster’s second senior international championship since winning gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.
McMaster has a personal best 47.80 seconds, which in ran in Jamaica a year ago.
