Walter Springette charged in connection to SCB shooting
The following is a media release from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF).
Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department yesterday charged Walter Springette, 37, of Sea Cows Bay with wounding and inflicting grievous bodily harm.
His arrest follows investigations into a shooting in Sea Cows Bay early Tuesday evening resulting in one man being injured.
The victim reported to the hospital with a single wound to his back.
Springette will appear before the Magistrate’s Court at the next available sitting.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.

I reside nwar to the 3rd, I know of the two person in question.
My question is, if one is mental and the other isn’t. How the mental one got his hands on such firecracker unless he knew the exact location of that firecracker.
And knowing the second party involved wouldn’t it be best to assume maybe the mental one got such firecracker from the victim unaware by him. Yes Walter mental and have his days but in my time knowing him I have never seen him or heard him to have a firecracker until that night.
Now I’m not defending him, to me both need to charge and locked up
Let’s hope nobody ever pulls a gun or knife in you….cause then you and the attacker should be locked up,too right??

Is Walter really the victim in this case?
Walter is the hero, that guy pull his gun on Walter however Walter stood his ground and the guy who is the perpetrator got blasted.
Walter is the victim, he had to fight off the bully who was trying to intimidate him.
WE DON’T KNOW FOR SURE WHAT WENT DOWN , BUT THERE IS A WHOLE LOT OF DRAMATISING OF WHAT TOOK PLACE , AND ITS NOT FUNNY ,SOMEONE COULD OF LOST THEIR LIFE , BUT THE WAY GUNS ARE BEING USED SO CAREFREE THESE DAYS EVERYBODY SEEMS TO HAVE GOTTEN ACCUSTOMED TO HEARING GUNS BLASTING OFF / PEOPLE GETTING ROBBED ,KILLED BY GUNS SO MOW WE ARE HEARING THE MENTALLY ILL WALKING THE STREETS IN BROAD DAYLIGHT WITH A REAL GUN IN HIS HANDS / I HOPE AND PRAY IT DON’T TRICKLE DOWN TO ONE OF THEM WALKING IN ON A SCHOOL GROUND OR IN A CLASS ROOM AND START FLEXING OFF ? ( DON’T WAIT UNTLL IT HAPPENS TO PUT PREVENTATIVE MEASURES IN PLACE FOR THOSE UNPREDICTABLE CRACKHEADS ON THE LOOSE HERE , SO WE CAN BLAME IT AS MENTAL ILLNESS

Ayo better get it right as we watching how OUR tax $$$$$ are being spent with lack of results. Stop trying to find the easy beat out and find out the rats in there being bribed for couple hundred dollars…..set of dutty(dirty) cops running counter OPS…..run talk dat!
