Wife arrested for damaging husband’s vehicle in jealous rage
BVI News understands that a woman who resides in the Virgin Gorda community was recently arrested and charged for damaging a vehicle her husband was driving, after suspecting that her spouse was having an affair.
Our news centre understands that the husband was seen in the company of another woman on the day of the incident. When the wife saw them in the vehicle together, she reportedly got angry and started attempting to gain access to the vehicle.
She allegedly hurled insults and death threats at her husband before using an unknown weapon to deflate the vehicle tyres. She also attempted to smash the windows but was unsuccessful. Our sources say the other woman who was in the vehicle with the husband was not hurt.
However the suspect did manage to cause additional damage to the vehicle before fleeing the scene in another car.
It’s understood that the woman was arrested and charged for the damage she caused. She was granted bail and is set to appear in the Magistrate’s in the coming weeks.

There are a lot of sick and deranged females not just males, (in the community, home, churches, workplace etc.) While there are many male stereotypes, seldom is the female in the Caribbean (including the Virgin Islands) communities assessed and charged for harassment and assault which many are allegedly guilty of in the Caribbean and beyond. Female to male violence and harassment needs to be taken more seriously.
Lady, don’t make yourself a fool for that man. It may hurt that he is unfaithful but when you come out of character for him it makes him feel like a king.
