PRESS RELEASE – The British Virgin Islands Yellow Pages has announced the brand name change from Yellow Pages to Yello and the unveiling of a new online directory.

This move has been in the pipeline for the past year in response to customer demand, consumer expectations, and to position the company to take advantage of the latest developments in the advertising industry.

“We have fast tracked the evolution which began some years ago, moving from a directory brand that advertisers have come to know and trust, to a full service media business charting a new direction for advertising in the 21st century,” revealed Mark Macfee, President of the parent company, Yello Media Group.

“One of the noticeable changes is our online directory platform changing from www.bviyp.com to www.findyello.com featuring more comprehensive content, a simpler modern interface, innovative design and easier site navigation to enhance the users’ search experience. Visitors to the site will benefit from expert content highlighting what’s happening in British Virgin Islands, as well as business tips and reviews from our team of expert content writers.”

“The new Yello offers improved customer experience, new products and features, plus a stronger platform to showcase our advertisers, enabling them to reach a wider and more diverse audience,” confirmed Erica Raymond, General Manager, Leeward Islands of Yello Media Group.

The new Yello offers an innovative suite of digital marketing solutions, and directory products to connect the right businesses to the right customers at the right time.

Search engine marketing, website development, social media management and app development are some of the Digital solutions offered to enhance value for advertisers.

The new slogan “we know local” is a promise that we know where to find the best local hidden gems in British Virgin Islands.

“We know where consumers are and how to reach them,” emphasised Raymond.

Yello has also restructured its operations to meet the needs of its demanding clientele as they strive to provide exceptional customer service with the newly established customer experience team.

The parent company Yello Media Group plans to roll out a series of new products and services, geared towards becoming a one-stop-media hub for all advertising solutions.
