This week is Public Service Week and things kicked off on Monday by honouring nearly 200 longstanding public servants.
One-hundred-and-fifty-six public officers who have been serving the local government for 10, 25, and 35 were recognised.
They all received tokens of appreciation, the Office of the Deputy Governor said.
“More activities will continue during the week and will focus on unity and impact within the service. Public Service Week 2018 is being held under the theme, One Public Service: Transforming Together,” the deputy governor’s office added.
