100 years!

Carrot Bay resident Aleatha Fraser is the newest centenarian in the British Virgin Islands.

She turned 100 yesterday, August 24.

Mrs Fraser was visited by newly appointed governor Augustus Jaspert, Premier Dr D Orlando Smith, and Leader of the Opposition Andrew Fahie.

Relatives and friends also gathered to ensure her milestone was specially recognized.

Fahie, in whose First Electoral District Mrs Fraser resides, congratulated the centenarian. “God’s blessings to her and the family,” he added.
