39 active cases in BVI! Tortola has the lion’s share

Thirty-nine active COVID-19 cases currently exist in the British Virgin Islands.

This is according to the Ministry of Health’s latest epidemiological summary dated November 30, 2021.

The summary indicates that 36 of these cases were recorded on the main island of Tortola. Another two were found to be on Virgin Gorda while the final reported case is on Jost Van Dyke.

None of these 39 COVID patients are hospitalised.

Further analysis of these cases show that five persons were found to have the virus during entry screening, seven were flagged through travel screening, 14 are contacts of a case, while the remaining 13 have been described as ‘local cases’.

In the meantime, the total number of cases recorded in the BVI to date is 2,809. Some 2,732 have recovered while 38 have died.

As for vaccinations, 16,704 persons are fully vaccinated in the BVI while 1,584 are partially vaccinated to date.

        Unvaxxed that should have been saved. Who orders this type of equipment/ventilator to use and don’t understand how to use it, but yet tries it on people? Only when those suits fly it would be understood.
