Aaron charged with attempted murder

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) said it has charged 20-year-old Kalik Aaron in relation to the attempted murder of a Belle Vue resident outside UP’s Cineplex in Road Town on October 29 last year.

The victim, said to be Dakeem Cheltenham, was left critically injured in the shooting incident.

Aaron, who is a resident of St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, is a native of the British Virgin Islands.

He was charged today, August 2, with conspiracy to murder as well as attempted murder.

“In the incident, the male victim received multiple gunshot wounds, and continues to receive treatment for his injuries,” said the RVIPF.

It added that Aaron will appear in the Magistrate’s Court at the next available date.
