BVI PORTS AUTHORITY INVITES TENDERS FOR GARBAGE DISPOSAL SERVICES AT PORT PURCELL

The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) is inviting qualified British Virgin Islands licensed heavy equipment companies to submit tenders for the provision of garbage disposal services at the Port Purcell Facility for a period of three (3) years.

Interested tenderers are encouraged to review the Request for Proposal and submit their proposals in accordance with the requirements outlined by the Authority.

Tenderers must submit:

One (1) original proposal marked “ORIGINAL”
One (1) copy marked “COPY”
One (1) flash drive containing all tender documents

The original and copy must be sealed separately and placed within an outer envelope clearly marked: “Tender for Garbage Disposal Service – Port Purcell, British Virgin Islands Ports Authority”
and addressed to:

Completed tenders must be deposited in the Tender Box at the BVI Ports Authority Office, at Port Purcell, Tortola, no later than 11:00 a.m. local time on Friday, 17 July 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Tenders will be opened at 2:00 p.m. local time on Monday, 20 July 2026, in the Conference Room at DeCastro Building, Sir Oliver Georges Plaza, Main Street, Road Town, Tortola. Tenderers are invited to witness the opening process in person.

The procurement forms part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to uphold high standards of cleanliness, environmental stewardship, and operational efficiency across its facilities. Through strategic partnerships with qualified service providers, BVIPA continues to invest in services that support the safe and sustainable operation of the Territory’s ports.

The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any tender and is not bound to accept the lowest or any other tender received. BVIPA will not reimburse tenderers for any costs incurred in the preparation or submission of proposals.
