BVIPA issues RFP for Implementation of a New Server Infrastructure

BVI PORTS AUTHORITY ISSUES REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR NEW SERVER INFRASTRUCTURE

The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) inviting qualified vendors to submit proposals for the supply of server hardware, software, and implementation services for a new server infrastructure project.

This initiative forms part of the Authority’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its technological capabilities, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting the secure delivery of services across its port facilities and administrative operations.

The project seeks to modernize the BVIPA’s core IT infrastructure through the implementation of a robust and scalable server environment that will support the Authority’s current and future business needs.

Interested vendors are encouraged to participate in a virtual pre-tender meeting scheduled for Wednesday, 29 July 2026 at 10:00 a.m., which will provide an opportunity to gain additional insight into the project requirements and procurement process.

Completed proposals must be submitted in plain sealed envelopes and delivered to the Acting Managing Director at the British Virgin Islands Ports Authority no later than 10:00 a.m. on Monday, 31 August 2026.
