Another tropical wave affecting the area, says DDM

The British Virgin Islands might experience unstable weather conditions today, August 16, because of yet another tropical wave that is affecting the area.

A series of tropical waves have been affecting the area since the start of the 2018 Atlantic Hurricane Season, which began in June.

The Department of Disaster Management (DDM) said there is 60 percent chance the territory will experience showers today.

The DDM further said there is a moderate chance of showers later tonight.

Seas, in the meantime, might produce moderate with significant wave heights of up to five feet.
