Arien Fahie

The following is a media release from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF).

Arien Fahie, 26, who is wanted for questioning in the shooting death of Corey Butler, was captured in the USVI, deported to BVI and officially charged for the murder of Corey Bulter last night.

Fahie was additionally charged with robbery in the same incident that left Butler wounded in the Scatliffe Alley area in the early evening hours of Tuesday, 21st June.

Butler was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at the Dr D Orlando Smith Hospital.

Commissioner of Police Mark Collins commended the officers for their persistence in ensuring that the assailants in this murder were captured and charged, even those who leave the shores to hide out elsewhere.
“Those who perpetrate crime in the Territory are not free because they have sailed beyond the jurisdiction. All efforts will be exhausted to find those responsible and bring justice in these cases,” Commissioner Collins stated.

Arien Fahie will appear in Magistrate’s Court at the next available sitting.

If you have an issue with the young you keep trying to name on 2 different online news website, why don’t you speak to the young or his parents in love? The article is not about the person you keep disparaging. This site let you name the father’s occupation the other site didn’t. So you got what you wanted. However, these are the kinds of behavior that drives anger in these young people. How do you know the youngman doesn’t have a medical condition that contributes to things you have no business talking about? Stop it.
