PHOTOS: Asha Hyndman crowned Miss BVI 2026!

(Photo by Jerome Morton/BVI News)Asha Hyndman has been crowned Miss BVI 2026, emerging as the winner after a strong performance throughout the competition and capturing the hearts of the audience.
The 21-year-old contestant was widely regarded as the crowd favourite and backed up that support by winning several sectional awards during the pageant. Hyndman walked away with the titles of Miss Photogenic, Miss Popularity, Best Introduction, Best Voice, Best Swimwear, Best BVI Promotion, Best Talent, and Best Evening Wear.
As the new Miss BVI, Hyndman received the keys to a new car and will go on to represent the BVI at the global Miss World competition.
Twenty-three-year-old Angelique Lettsome was named first runner-up after also impressing the judges. Lettsome earned the awards for Miss Intellect and Best Cultural Wear.
Meanwhile, Kala Penn, 27, was crowned second runner-up. She also received the Miss Congeniality award and a $1,500 cash prize, along with other prizes.
The pageant showcased the contestants’ poise, talent, intelligence and passion for promoting the Virgin Islands, with all three women delivering strong performances across the various judged segments.

The committe sbould have size criteria to entire for miss BVI. Contestand # 2 deserve best swin wear # 1 and 3 body needed to slim down and tone up more
# 1 was way to fat.
