Baronville sentenced to several months for cocaine, marijuana

A 29-year-old East End man who pleaded guilty to drug-related offences will spend several months at Her Majesty’s Prison for his crimes.

Magistrate Shawn Innocent sentenced Kyle Barronville on Wednesday to 12 months imprisonment for possession of cocaine.

He was given another 12 months for possession of the cocaine with intent to supply.

Barronville was also sentenced to a total of nine months for his possession of cannabis and possession of cannabis with intent to supply to another.

His sentences are to be served concurrently (side by side).

Police reportedly found approximately 54 grams of cannabis and 12 grams of cocaine in Barronville’s possession on January 1 this year at Nanny Cay, Tortola.

The drugs were found secured in dime bags in a small blue pouch.

He was subsequently arrested and charged.

Barronville is currently incarcerated for unrelated offences.

      Did you not read that he was found with both cocaine and cannabis. Plus he is a repeat offender (several times). He is in jail for another crime.

    Is it cocaine season? It’s too often mentioned in our community, I don’t even want to think about the ones that ain’t mentioned. Drugs have only been successful in proving that it doesn’t work and only destroys communities.
